Northern France 1 night

After 3 weeks travelling around France and Spain I need to find one last place to stay around an hour or so from Calais next Friday night.

Any recommendations?

Safe parking is a must.

Chateau de Montreuil

Look at Le Touquet or Montreuil-sur-Mer.
I can’t recommend specific accommodation but both are around an hour from Calais.

Chateau Tilques just outside St Omer, very safe location out in the sticks and an easy run into Calais from there. Hotel has or had a good reputation when I used it a few years ago.

Rooms at Chateau Tilques a bit tired but convenient for Calais, plenty of secure parking and decent food.

There is a Best Western next door and you have access to hotel bar, grounds and two restaurants.

We have stayed many times and it has been perfect.

Junction 6 of the A26 approximately 50 minutes from Calais.

Near St Omer, less than an hour from Calais. Excellent restaurant, you will not be disappointed.
