Costa Calida

My wife and I are looking for a decent hotel for a fortnight next summer in the Costa Calida area and there appears to be only a few options. Ideally we’d like it to be within walking distance of the coast and would like something at least 4 star.

Has anyone got any recommendations or is it best to look for an apartment that would not be the ideal option.

try mazarron area - i know it very well.

hotel dos playas en mazarron is lovely , clean modern
very short walk to lovely beach

or down the road is bolnuevo - stunning beach

or into mazarron port - lively (not benidorm lively) pier with bars etc ..

Many thanks for the advice. It looks ideal to me with Mrs 131 Sport not being totally convinced. She keeps looking at Golf and Spa resorts that are mainly quite a few miles in land and not my idea of a coastal holiday.
