Cape Verde island hopping

Does anyone have any useful info for creating a multi island trip to CV?

Looking at going in early July next year.

Island hopping can get expensive.
When we were staying in Sal there were adverts about boat and light aircraft trips to various islands.
May be worth some research and DIY trip.

I'd wing it and book ferries and flights as I go. There's every chance sailings and flights will be be cancelled anyway so no point making firm plans beforehand. Talking to locals last time internal flights were relatively well priced.

Depends how long you want to go for. I've been to Sao Vicente and Santo Antao, booked a ferry ticket from Sao Vicente before we left, and the return walked in and bought the day before.

If in no rush, I'd ferry it to Praia. If time is limited, fly there. I'd look at flying into Sao Vicente and return from Praia.

Personally I wouldn't bother with Sal or Boa Vista, but rather get to Fogo
