Oman Air Business Class LHR T4, use Qatar lounge?

Hi
I'm flying out of LHR T4 business class, I've never flown this airline before. It's a one world partner so theoretically I can use the Qatar lounge, Oman doesn't have a dedicated lounge so uses the Gulf Air one.

I've been going around in circles trying to confirm whether I can definitely use the Qatar lounge. Google search says yes but then throws in some doubt by saying that there might be exceptions etc.

I've called Oman Air twice and they can't seem to tell me. They told me to call Qatar. I called Qatar and they told me to ask Oman Air since my booking is with them!

I'm keen to know for sure as if I can I'll get to the airport with some extra time to enjoy the lounge. If I can only use the Gulf Air lounge I won't bother as it doesn't look particularly good.

Btw my only qualifying criteria would be my business class ticket, I don't hold any high tier frequent flyer status with one world.

Oman Air became a full member of the One World Alliance in June 2025. So a business class ticket on Oman will give you full access to any One World lounge anywhere.

It beggars belief that despite three calls to Oman Air they couldn't give me that definitive answer.

if you're transiting through muscat the oman lounge there is fantastic.

I am but the layover is only 1 hour 50 minutes. Will that be enough time to pop in?

(Have never been to Muscat airport before)

i went through there on the way to india with work back in i think 2018 when the lounge had first been refurbed. They had also built an amazing one in Mumbai just before that.

I really liked the airline to be honest, and i'd very much like to visit Oman as a tourist too as it seems like a really great place.
