Southern Spain or Portugal Villa wanted for 5wk next Xmas

As per the title I'm looking for a villa/house or decent apartment with three bedrooms on the southern coast of Spain or Portugal from mid December to mid January. About 4-5 weeks. I would quite like a pool or Jacuzzi/hot tub, but that's not vital.

It needs to be reasonably near an airport or train station for visiting friends. Alicante, Murcia, Cadiz?
Not stuck right up the mountains and nearish to some stuff to do/see for visitors who I suspect might like shopping!!

Wondering if the PH minds can suggest some good links or decent places they have stayed.

I have had a look on Airbnb and Booking, but maybe something a bit more personal might be good.

We have a place down near Estepona & I’d suggest trying some of the facebook sites. There are often people advertising or asking there. Pick one of the small towns & see what you can find.

By the way don’t worry about a pool, Too cold for that. Nobody really uses them after October.
