2 night UK stay - N Wales?

Looking for recs on a UK holiday for 2 nights next week. Just me and the Mrs (she is a teacher so have to wait for bloody half term).

Looked at Windermere but weather warnings so looked at North Wales? Ideally lots of walking routes around where we can go on long runs. Also a few pubs in the village. As I say, Windermere was ideal but lots of snow incoming according to the apps.

We always gravitate towards Porthmadog and, funds permitting, Portmeirion in particular but you're never far from a decent walk no matter where you are around there.

There's often some good last minute deals to be had this time of the year and its a great treat if you enjoy good food too.

Theres a snow warning though so we have booked Naples for a few nights instead on Sunday > Wednesday!!

That sounds like a safer bet all round, I've been there in unexpected snow and the drive home on semi-slick tyres was "interesting"
