Hi everyone - does anyone have a lot of experience navigating through Belfast city airport? Reason I ask is I am torn on whether to hire a car when I arrive there, or take a taxi. Time will be of the essence, my flight is due to land at 09.25 and I need to be in North Belfast (Antrim Rd area) by 10.30 latest really, hopefully a few mins earlier than this.

Praying that my flight arrives on time or ealrier, i'll only have a rucksack for luggage. The when I get through to the hall - how much time am I going to lose finding Dollar Rent a Car, queuing for a short while, filling in the paperwork and then gong to find my car outside? Has anyone done this with Dollar recently? The other option I am looking at is taxi?? are they plentiful outside the airport?

Pre book a taxi. Then you have no stress. Let them know your needs along with the booking.

Picking up a hire car can be a pain. You don't want to be rushing and miss any damage.

Whenever I've been there taxis have been reasonably plentiful and buses into the city centre very regular. It's only 4 or 5 miles.

Taxis are plentiful. You’ll be grand. Plus it’s not a big airport so won’t take long between getting off the plane to being in a taxi.

This, you only need a couple of idiots in front of you in the queue and stress levels will start rising.
