Come May we are staying a few days in Bergen and Voss in Norway. We have 3/4 days to drive up the coast in a hired VW Id4. What's best to plan for accommodation - hotel or airbnb? Really looking forward to return to Norway - I had a great time there many years ago.

We did a combo of Airbnb and booking.com when we were last there in 2023. We got the ferry to Bergen and back from Larvik and took a couple of weeks to do it.

If you are up that way the train at Flåm is quite fun - take the train up the mountain and you can rent a bike at the top to bike back down to the sea (or there's a zip line for some of it and then a bike).

The Lærdal tunnel is also quite an experience, being the longest road tunnel in the world. There's a nice stave church at the other end too.

I've skied in Voss a few times and rented an Air BnB half way up the mountain from the town to ski resort. Lots of day outs and things to do. Eating out is expensive. Eating in isn't too bad.

It's a fantastic place !
