24 hours in Rome
Discussion
Flying stop to Rome - Friday night until Sunday morning.
Want to do all the touristy stuff & don't mind cramming a lot into the time there - recognise these will be whistle stop visits which some people won't like or appreciate but time is what it is!
Arrive Friday evening- so thinking a night time visit to Trevi Fountain.
Then up early on Saturday...
Straight into the Colosseum with a prebooked ticket (although not currently available online???)
From there to the Vatican / St Peters / Sistine Chapel. - All tickets prebooked.
Then back over the river to come back to the Pantheon / forum etc.
What else am I missing, anything else must see?
We're staying dead centre in Navona so should be a reasonable starting point. Might have an hour Sunday morning to fill too?!

I'd do the colosseum and then walk to the Pantheon via the monument to Emanuel II and then the Chiesa del Gesu (one of the best churches I've been in) Then walk across the river, seeing the Trevi on the way, to the castel St'Angelo and finally down to the Vatican. You'll be knackered but you will have seen a lot.
Dont forget a few gelato stops on the way!
