Brittany ferries are doing some pretty good deals so we thought we might hop over in the... new to us Jaaaaag.
Plymouth...Roscoff n back, friday afternoon out, monday afternoon back.
So 3 nights out and about. Arrives 8pm local friday so perhaps stay/eat Roscoff fri night then take off somewhere for Sat/sat night...suggestions on where and route...then same for sunday. Monday sailing is 1430 local so plenty of time to top up the boot...(that wont take long!)...and drive to the seaport.
Cheers

We stayed at the Hotel Bellvue, it was very nice and only 5 minutes away from the ferry port. Plenty of nice eateries around the harbour a short walk away.
In terms of 'where next', it depends what you want. A pleasant bimble through the Breton countryside gets you to our favourite, Dinan, possibly the nicest ancient town in that area, or Rennes, very smart and much larger.
Around the coast from Roscoff are lots of small villages and bays - we stayed for a week at Carantec but, other than two nice restaurants, there wasn't much else there.
Further South is St. Nazaire and its wartime history with the huge submarine pens and Pornic, another ancient town just around the corner.
Got to admit that we never gelled with either Brest or St. Brieuc, but we visited both during very wet weather which perhaps coloured our judgment.
