Completed my EES some months ago
Discussion
Hi all, I completed my EES finger printing stuff, some months ago, when flying out for a Tenerife holiday.
Done in Tenerife airport on arrival.
Now in 2 weeks time, we are off on a 1 month campervan adventure to South of France, via DFDS dover to Calais.
What can I expect when I arrive at the boarding lanes in Dover, or the departure lanes in Calais.
Thanks all for replies.

As far as I can tell from reports, a previous registration will make no difference in queuing (everyone in the same queue) and you will still need to go through the machines for passport scanning and either prints again or photo again. This is rather second hand information as I've not done it myself, but have read a lot about the experience of others.

So essentially no time gained in our previously done EES stuff,

As far as I can tell. I think things are changing as 'they' are making the rules up as they go along - so it's quite possible that previous registrations on some routes might have a different lane. But it doesn't seem to be the case at the moment. What a paff.
I am going out next week and fortunately Le Shuttle hasn't turned on the machines yet - so I'm told.
The whole system is a mess, flew into Frankfurt from Luanda 21st March and it was chaos with ques going everywhere and staff that didint know what to do only just made my connecting flight to Paris.
I have been in and out of the UK to France, UK to Ireland and Ireland to France and only once arriving in Paris has the EES machine been on and I had to use it even though I had done it before in Frankfurt.... flying out of Paris tomorrow night back to the UK will see how things go.
I am dreading how bad it could be in Ibiza and Faro in July.
