Well seeing as 2027 is (nearly) upon us (and people book cruises a LONG way in advance!) I present, for your delight, delectation and just general chit-chat:
The Official Cruise 2027 Thread
Four already booked for 2027The Official Cruise 2027 Thread
March Northern lights Princess
April 3 day Bruges P&O
June Greece area NCL
October TA/caribbean P&O
We have just the one for 2027 - Southampton to Buenos Aires on Majestic Princess in October.
It will be our 4th cruise and the longest at 22 days with 5 days at sea on the trot as we head to Brazil from the Canaries. As long as the weather is good then I will be fine sitting on the balcony with a beer or three!
Just starting to try and plan what we will do in South America when we get there at the moment since we can’t agree on ideas and we can’t do everything!

Has anyone on the forum sailed with the Paul Gauguin line? I spent a couple of months in Tahiti and Bora Bora about ten years ago and would like to visit the French Polynesian islands again.
I’d be interested in any feedback if anyone has any experience of this particular company.
Cheers

Well I've bit the bullet on my first ever cruise....in a month's time believe it or not! Yes I know this is the 2027 thread, but as the most recent and active thread I may as well post here. I had booked up 11 days of AL from 20/11 to 03/12 expecting to be in the US for a few days or a week at my friends place in St Louis for Thanksgiving, however those plans have fallen through, so I've booked a 7 day cruise with Royal Caribbean from 22/11 to 29/11 in the Western Caribbean: Tampa > Mexico > Honduras > Belize > Mexico > Tampa.
Sailing on my own, and it was £820 for a guaranteed sea view cabin, so just over £120 a night which is very decent imo. Saved more money on the flight by going with Lufthansa/Discover via Frankfurt...£700 instead of the £1000 that BA and Virgin both wanted for direct flights.

Just booked Meraviglia for next summer, we've been on it before and really enjoyed it.
Southampton > at sea > Gijon > at sea > Cadiz > Malaga > Alicante > Ibiza > Tarragona > at sea > Casablanca > at sea > La Coruna > at sea > Southampton
Good mix of several places we haven't been before and a good number of sea days which I love.

I quite fancy the Cunard Norway/Northern Lights trip in October.... anyone done it before?
we did Fred Olsen in January this year and loved it (the weather was rather 'poor' - left one port early, missed another! Spray was going over the top of the ship). Also did P&O a few years back up to Alta and Honnigsvag (had a blizzard on that one - loved it too!). If you've not been on Cunard before the 'afternoon tea' is a bit of fun, get there about 20 minutes early to get a nice seat.Celebrity cruise booked over a year ago, March 2027 - Got 3 days in Singapore, get on cruiseship, 12 days to Vietnam, Thailand, China ending with another 3 days in Hong Kong.
Going with my best mate, will be second cruise, did Norway with P&O in June, loved it though kept hitting the drink limit. Celebrity apparently has no limit
.
Got kayaking in Thailand and a waterfall walk booked so far and loading up on the linen
