does anyone know the island well ?

I remember as a kid there was this crashed airplane in a field... well, I think mainly just the fuesalage. They had converted it and it became a famous nightclub.

anyone remember this or know more ?

Been to Majorca quite a bit since the late 80's, but never seen that place. There was this place in Fleet, Hampshire that had the fuselage & cockpit inside surrounding the bar and bits of undercart dotted around the place. For some reason the pic formatting will not allow this to be shown, so I am afraid you will need to click the link.

It think it was a restaurant rather than a nightclub converted from the remains of an old (possibly a Comet) passenger aircraft, and sited just off the old Palma Nova to Santa Ponsa road. It was removed long ago now. The site currently a waterpark - kids not David Attenborough.
