Apparently N'wide are stopping commission free stuff. Not heard anything official, just heard it from a mate so not sure it is true.
If it is they're shooting themselves in the foot a little IMHO. They have a very good reputation for foreign cash withdrawls, and as this thread shows, it has no-doubt won them a lot of business. Certainly I have kept my N'wide accounts open and full during three long periods abroad over recent years. If they charge for cash machine withdrawls, this probably would not have been the case.
Ah well, someone at head office has obviously done the sums and come to a different conclusion than mine.
