Help!!! travel advice needed

Me and the soon to be missus are heading out on honeymoon for 10 days first week in october but I have a major headache as it's going to be a driving holiday around northern/central europe as she's absolutely petrified of flying so it's going to be a ferry to amsterdam for starters. Have you guys got any good ideas about where to go afterwards as we have 10/11 days to explore. Hotel suggestions would be great too.

If you’re talking about a touring holiday I would recommend that you head to the Allgau region (Bavarian Alps) in Southern Germany. You can visit Neuschwanstein Castle and spend some time round Lake Constance (Bodensee), which is beautiful. Austria, Switzerland and Italy are all relatively close from there. Wikipedia and Google Earth are your friends, use them to plan a route.
