Decent meal somewhere near uffculme, oh and gokarting

Having a week in devon, uffculme to be precise. Can anyone suggest a decent place to go out for a meal somewhere nearby. There's nowhere obvious.

Also i have spotted nigel mansel has an outdoor kart track nearby, anyone been? Is it worth just turning up for a few laps?

Globe Appley is good, Five Bells at Clyst Hydon also good, Halfway House at Willand is good for lunch.

I'm good for a pint if you fancy a meet up.
