Anyone got any inside info on holiday homes in Devon

I've been through loads of web sites for a cottage, log lodge, bungalow, barn conversion, with some good and some infuriatingly complicated ones, but I've stuck it out just in case I find the one I'm looking for. But nothing seems to leap out for the Price/location/availability combo.

So out in the great cyber ether is there something I'm missing.

3 in our family and would like to start the holiday on the 11th July for a week.

Any gems out there ?

Just got a late late late deal on a 3 bed farm house cottage in Porkellis near Helston in Cornwall.

Off at 6am tomorrow with the family for some fun in the sun in Cornwall.
