I bought a motorhome a couple of weeks ago and found this site very useful for getting general and specific information about all things motorhome. http://www.motorhomefacts.com/
After looking at the sites mentioned above we eventually bought from a local dealer, we did this for a number of reasons, firstly he had one with the layout we wanted - fixed bed with centre diner and rear seat belts, secondly I discovered that many dealers will only do work on motorhomes/caravans they have sold, or are reluctant to do work on other, thirdly I felt we got a decent deal as we had no trade in.
Could be worth looking here, don't know if they have any demountables though

CT thanks but the Two links on 'sales' don't seem to do demountable stuff.
TBH not many UK places do (and next to nothing used)
I was only thinking a set up like this over another vehicle, in terms of Insurance/Tax/MOT, and avoiding the dreaded Caravan option.
got somewhere I could leave it securely so thats OK, found a number of smaller types
bit basic but its only really long weekends anyway, it has to fit a Navara crewcab so the length of its floor at least shouldn't really be greater than 2M or so.
