can you still get jobs in construction there? can you get drunk easily and enjoy it. are they quite tollerant of westerners and our sinful ways?!?!? i know genrally they are but i heard there was a bi of a backlah starting. plus due to the recession here, most recruitment agencies are saying they wont get you a job without experience - would it be possible to get out there and then get or a job???
how is it getting a decent motor out there? and at what cost? they are right petrol heads there!

Still a few jobs about, less than there used to be - you'll struggle unless you are here speaking to the agencies and have some previous experience though IMO. What do you do?
Can drink yes, expensive though - 20-25Dhs/pint (£3-4).
Generally quite tolerant, but you have to be respectful. Their country, their rules.
Cars are plentiful, not cheap though due to the forex rate, but fuel is 20p/litre I think (I never pay so don't know).
