Car Hire - Algarve

Help!

Due to the inlaws not getting the car they were after for Portugal - ie leaving it too late we need to hire one ourselves as there are tow of us plus baby. I've tried all the usual suspects, easyjet; carhire3000; moneysupermarket etc and there are practically none available - unless you want to spend £700 + for one week

Anyone else have some suggestions as to where I can try? I go on Friday!

Have done mine thru expedia / budget for w/c 1st sept, although booked it about 6 weeks ago.

£101 for a week - budget small car with aircon which is all we need for 2 of us.

I'm going there on Sat (pick car up from Faro) I did mlots of searches & found the cheapest to be Yorcar see http://www.yorcar.com/

Can't vouch for them yet but you don't pay anything until you pick car up. (I ended up booking car for 3 days at beginning of hols & last 3 days as cost was high but we are there for 2 weeks)
