2 Weeks in Aug/Sept - Ideas Needed!

Where would you go for 2 weeks in the sun, back end of Aug/early Sept?

Budget c. £800-1000 plus food/drink.

I think I'd be bored sitting around for 2 weeks so would like somewhere with something to do whilst also being able to relax.

Ideas so far:

Thailand (Bangkok then a couple of islands) - too wet at that time?

Marrakesh - nice hotels, reasonably priced but no beach and not enough to do for 2 weeks perhaps?

Bali - mostly sitting on the beach, possibly too pricey

how about a late booking cruise, everyday new place to explore, all food and entertainment provided, gone are the days when the average age is blue rinse

That had crossed my mind but for some reason is doesn't appeal to me.

Possibly Italy? I think I'd enjoy the food!

I've booked Orlando for 2 weeks in september (£650 each although there were cheaper), few beaches not too far away, daytona or CoCo, plenty to do and see, hopefully weather should be pretty good also!

That' in the hurricane season and the time when it's very humid.
