As per title, has anyone actually got an email address for someone high up Ryan'Cowboy'Air who might actually take note and dignify me with a response that isn't automated or sent by a £5.00 an hour advisor who doesn't give a feck?

I just feel the need to vent a bit of frustation at how they run their business, randomly make up prices on a daily basis, make up the taxes as they go along, constantly change their booking proceedures to make it so difficult to get an all inclusive price and are absolutely impossible to get hold of via their website, even by email, presumably because they get so much abuse email from satisfied customers.

I also fancy giving them a quick bazking69 lesson in business and advising them why they are failing miserably in business and customer satisfaction.

In return I promise that it will be ruthlessly brutal and almost certainly contain defamatory references to the Irish.

The reason by the way is that I went to book some tickets to Pisa at £143, their booking proceedure crashed at the last stage and when I got back in the price had magically jumped to £468 for the same flight a mere 10 minutes later...

You might find this site useful:

http://www.ryanaircampaign.org/

It reckons you should try:

penstonm@ryanair.com = Reservations Manager (Michelle Penston)

walshg@ryanair.com = Reservations Team Leader (Gemma Walsh)

(A recent message suggests that the Gemma Walsh address has been bouncing.)

greenc@ryanair.com = Head of Customer Service (Caroline Greene)

nygardm@ryanair.com = possible contact for website problems

mcnamara@ryanair.com = Head of Communications (Stephen McNamara)

Also, we are told, some email addresses that customers got a response from, having only been able to contact Ryanair thanks to this site, were

itinerary@ryanair.com

refund@ryanair.com (Recently, automated replies have been received from this address saying "Unfortunately, replies to this email address cannot currently be processed. Please send your query to our fax +353 1 8121230".)

info@frsc.net (after reports that this address was bouncing, we've had a report on 27 February 2009 that it seems to be working)

priceguarantee@ryanair.com (we've had a report that an email was deleted unread, in which case it must have been received)

We've been told that there was a reply from Gemma walsh, with the reply address KellyG@ryanair.com.

also oneills@ryanair.com Deputy Head of Customer Services (Siobhan O'Neill)

Cheers guys, that'll give me something to be going on with. The sad thing is that these guys probably get so many abusive and angry emails they just delete them as soon as it becomes heated...

To think the last time I used them everything went so smoothly and I was singing their praises, even if I did pay over the odds for booking in advance...

BTW, Ryanair pulling out of Manchester was over £3 a ticket that Ryanair decided on everyones behalf they wouldn't pay. This is the company that now force a £20 charge per booking on the customer just to take your money by card, and they are refusing to pay a £3 charge because they don't agree with being held to ransom....

Utter chambles of a company. I hope the O'Learys step on dirty needles if I am honest...

If people didn't fly with them they'd get the message.

Just boycott them.

(The Irish will know all about boycotting - they invented the strategy).

I've had to book alternatives, so yes they have lost the sale because of their own incompetence. This has been mentioned...

What the hell do people expect?

If people are dumb enough to think they can continually get something for sweet Fanny A then afaic that's it's just a lesson in the bleedin' obvious.

Stuff costs; better stuff costs more.

Well, fancy that.

He's trying to save your blood pressure, and your time.

Ryanair don't, won't and arent listening..

They don't give a toss that they lost your business, or that you don't love them any more.

Their business plan works for now, and that's all they care about.

There is only one way to show them what you think, and thats to go elsewhere.

Save yourself the stress.

Whilst Der is perhaps being a little more blunt than some there is a ring of truth to what he says.

The days of the 'normal' £38 return to Amsterdam type tickets are gone. The so called 'low cost' airlines are nothing or the sort these days, it has got to the point where it really isn't worth the £20 pp saving unless there are 25 of you on a stag do or similar.

Exactly.

My organisation and sister outfits have a LOT of people flying between two cities that they notionally serve.

We got their number very quickly, and there is now a complete embargo on using their services worldwide.

On the route* in question, BA for all their faults, really do provide a better and cheaper service. No brainer really.

As EricMC says vote with your feet.

  • * It is not the exact route as BA fly to the proper airports for the cities concerned, Ryanair don't.

The emails have already been sent. I didn't spend too much time on them but was brutally frank.

I am fully aware of how creitous and disinterested this company are in customer service, and don't really expect a response (maybe the references to Paddy McDumbous and his brothers was a bit much?) but felt the need to vent a bit of frustration. Which I have done now. And feel much better for!

yes We're off to Barcelona on BA next month. £100 each return, and £50-£80 cheaper than Sleazy and Ryanair at time of booking. Sleazy are the better of the so-called cheapies, but I just refuse to fly Ryanair. I mean - £20 to airport check-in, or £5 check-in online. Where else are you supposed to fking check-in???

You didn't actually book so the messages will surely get binned. Not much point complaining to Ryanair, especially if you not even a customer!

The recently launched BA flights into Europe are good value and worth the extra few quid not to fly Ryanair IMO. However I recently flew to a virtually 'Ryanair only' airport at Beziers in France and I didn't really have many alternatives within a similar budget so sometimes your stuck with the fookers!
