West Wittering

We are thinking about heading over to West Wittering this afternoon/evening and catching the sunset on the beach.

Having looked at the beach website, it would appear that the car park gates close at 8.30pm. Is there anywhere to park, that doesn't involve a long trek to the beach, where we would be able to stay for a bit longer after sundown?

You can park about half a mile down the road in the local village and take the small walk up the concrete drive.

Won't be a massive walk, lovely place.

Yes it does close, to entrance -but there is an automatic exit barrier which I assume works beyond 'closing time'. Enjoy!!
