Is it actually still good for cheap anything?

I just had a quick look for flights and hotels and could only find prices circa what they could be bought for from a travel agent.

At least they dont have an irritating advert featuring desert cats, opera singers, stupid dorky students or a stty catchy theme tunes!

There's the odd good deal but they're very far apart. Anyone ever got one of their when it's gone it's gone deals? We press the buttons the moment the start time comes along and all we get is error, error, error, sorry they're all sold out. Fishy....

They're not very good for anything any more on average.

Occasionally you find deals that are cheaper - but then you have to go through the hassle of booking something using their website. Hit and miss.

I find Expedia much better in honesty, especially for accommodation!

i agree. even if you actually look for last minute stuff its expensive. theyve just cashed in on the name. maybe it used to offer good last miinute deals. I tried teletextholidays on the int today and that was as bad. anyone who is half decent with the internet is prob better off just booking flights and hotels seperately in my experience.
