Cornwall Aug 2010 large house rental.

Looking for a large house to rent Aug next year for two weeks, something very nice and needs to be close to the beach or on a river (Helford), any one got one or any leads ?

I've just come back from a beachfront property on the outskirts of Bude that sleeps 6 if that is any use?

Looking for somewhere that sleeps 8 in comfort, if it takes two dogs all the better but not imperative.

My inlaws rent out two apartments through Cornwall traditional cottages! www.corncott.com they may well have some stuff!

The place I stayed at will be too small but did take dogs (I took my 2 boys with me). Out of interest it's here:

They have something bigger that could suit. It says they don't take pets but they will if you ask and pay an extra £20.

Failing that there was a place on the same road that looked bigger but was a little bit further from the beach. It was called "Captains Cook Cottage", sorry I don't have any more detail than that.

Having said all that I personally would not rush back to Cornwall. I had fond memories of it that were ruined on this trip. Maybe because I was in Bude - seems like Chav central these days. No decent pubs, limited decent food and obviously English weather.

Prince Charles has some nice places to rent in Cornwall but none on a beach though.
