Lubeck to Hamburg

Hi, could anyone please give me the best methods of trave between Lubeck airport, and Hamburg, I believe we are staying in a place called St. Pauli.
Train, coach or cab. Costs and journey times.

Trains are pretty spectacular in Germany - google "Deutche Bahn" for an English language booking service.
You'll have fun in St. Pauli too. In fact the whole of Hamburg has been a revelation to me.

It's about 40mins from Luebeck to Hamburg and is about €15 one way or €30 return. Trains run about every 15-20mins.

Been to Hamburg half a dozen times and flown into Lubeck most times - I just got a coach from the airport for something like 12 Euros (this was about 4 years ago so probably more now), takes you to the main coach station in Hamburg where there is a U/S-Bahn station.

Not been to St.Pauli but knew a few people who lived there and seemed to like it!

I visited Drager in Lubeck a few years ago.
Very pretty place.
Cabbed it into Hamburg.
