How much for Dubai?
Discussion
Morning all,
looking for a rough idea of how much say 5 - 7 nights in Dubai is likley to cost?
Would like one of the big shiny hotels but realise these are likley to cost a hell of a lot more... so advice on decent smaller hotels woudl be acceptable if the big places are out of budget.
So a rough price for 5 - 7 night in a big shiny hotel including flights?
in november.

probably the best bet is a combined hotel and flight deal from the likes of Flightcentre, ticket network etc the hotels are using them to dump excess inventory. The beach hotels are fairly full but the ones away from the coast are empty, see if you can get a deal on Emirates Towers, Rotana towers, Duscit and shangri la all are on Sheikh Zayeed Rd but have deals with beach clubs to give you beach access if you want that.
On the beach the cheapest will be the Sheraton but their is building going on next to it, then Hilton and there is a new Sofitel due to open soon that might have some decent opening offers.
Either way budget a decent amount for eating and drinking it is expensive even with the improved exchange rate.
And don't come till the second week of Oct if you want to do much outdoors, it is still bloody roasting even in the evening at the mo.
Cheers
