Hello all,

its my/our first wedding anniversary this weekend and I'm whisking her off to Brighton for two nights. I've got the hotel booked but would appreciate any help with restaurants and days/evenings entertainment you may recommend or have experience of.

Much appreciated in advance.

Thanks, but I might be in a little bit of trouble for introducing not unexemplary British motoring engineering into this weekend.

I'll check out the restaurants that have been mentioned. Hotel du Vin Bistro was recommended at work, but they're full this Fri and Sat. Keep 'em coming.

Drakes is very good for a treat. The hotel is fab (bath in the bay window).

The Gingerman, excellent restaurant and great service. The small one in Hove is better than the one in the hotel.
