Winter break - S. France / Spain / Italy ??
Discussion
Me and Mrs Get are thinking of popping somewhere in Europe for about 4 days in Jan (to get away from the Highland winter)
We don't really care where... any ideas? We need:
Somewhere where it'll be decent temperature - hopefully with some sun
Very good hotel (we don't want to cook)
Not in a town or city
Not too far from an airport (with flights from Gatwick)
Preferably near or by the sea.

Canary islands - Lanzarote/Fuerteventura. Nowhere else is likely to be a "decent" temperature at that time of year (unless 12c is your idea of "decent").We don't really care where... any ideas? We need:

Dubai?
OP said "in Europe" but you are right that the only places that could be described as warm at that time of year will be on that sort of latitude in the Northern hemisphere. Canary Islands only count as Europe because they are owned by Europeans. Geographically they are level with Southern Morocco.Gassing Station | Holidays & Travel | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
