Can anyone recommend a website/airline for cheap flights from Singapore to Jakarta? Needs to allow for about 20-30kg of checked in luggage. Most of the low cost operators out there seem to be not so low cost when you have hold baggage.
Cheers for that. Tiger were cheaper but the flight to Jakarta leaves in the evening which is too late in the day for my schedule. Went for Air Asia with 20kg luggage in the hold
Hope you have a good time over there. A colleague of mine was seconded to an airline in SE Asia just after getting type-rated, 6 months became two years and he didn't want to come home!
My wife flies Kl to Jakarta, a lot, and always with one of the Middle east air lines, they fly 'Home base'- KL - Jakakart, and the KL/jakarta leg is empty so sold of cheap, so you get ascheduled flight for less than the cheapo, may be the same ffrom Sg
