Toulon / Nice / Monaco area

Does anybody have. or know of any good quality rental places - even campsites with caravans would be fine, ideally child friendly, ( 2 families 4 adults 4 kids) closer to the coast the better and ideally no more than an hours drive to Monaco. looking for a week end of august next year

Stayed here few years back http://www.pv-holidays.com/cote-d-azur/cap-esterel... - west of Nice but Monaco is an easy drive. Yes it's a big resort complex, but it's a good example of the breed and the location is fabulous. Very child-friendly as you'd expect, and the roads around it are a bit tidy too

Thought it was great value, amazing views (especially the infinity pool), Monaco was about 45 mins walk, and close enough to motorway for getting about.

The surroundings are nice, but Toulon itself is large, steep (not like Portsmouth!), industrial - and a large naval port to boot.
