Cheap Carribean Holiday - Last Minute booking best ?

I have decided to go to the Carribean for 2 weeks on January (any date in Jan to keep costs down)

The question im asking is it cheaper to book now or is it cheaper to book only 2 weeks before ? As I have looked at Holiday in November are soo much cheaper than those in January, is this due to them being a last minute deal ? or just January is more popular

January to march is peak season in the Caribbean.

You are also at the end of hurricane season in Nov and it can still be quite humid and the more occasional shower. I have also experienced a hurricane in early Nov.
