I'm thinking about getting a Trunki ride-on suitcase for my daughter. Does anyone have one of these? How are they? I'm wondering about ride/wheel quality and also whether dimensions are below 55 x 40 x 20 (the manufacturer's site doesn't say).

My son is three and a half and can destroy just about anything. He has had a Trunki for 18 months, has used it on ten or so trips and it is almost as good as new.

We have great fun doing drift turns on downhill ramp corners in airports. I highly recommend it for avoiding boredom (child and father) and avoiding having to carry heavy children.

Agree with everything Zod says. And you can get a lot more in them than you would imagine.

We bought two for our trip to Orlando last month. One tiger for our 5 year old daughter, and a Gruffalo for our 23 month old son.

Handy as they are, what a pain, whilst trying to move 5 cases and 3 kids, they were nothing but a pest. The clasp on my daughters broke before we even got to the airport (case still usable and they offer to fix for free I think).

You do get quite a lot in them, and perfect for cabin luggage. Lots of comments, especially the gruffalo one.

I think fine with slightly older children, but not so handy for the 23 month old who wanted to take charge of his own trunki. They will certainly be used again in our household. They are ideal size for overnight stays at Grandma!!!

We got ours from Amazon, no problem, and price was pretty much spot on, and free delivery.
