Baggage allowance & 100kgs

Different airlines = different rules on baggage allowance.
Would it not be easier, and eco & health friendly, if each passenger & all their luggage were weighed at check in with a total allowance of 100kg (or some other number), with appropriate step-up for business (120kg?) & 1st class (130kg?).
If you weigh 60kg, you are entitled to a 40kg baggage allowance. If you are still under 100kgs, you get a credit equal to that charged for people who have excess.
If you weigh 100kg, all your baggage will be charged a sensible amount per kg. Incentive to lose weight?

Mmmm... That sounds fair!
I'm 6'5" tall, and broad shouldered - weighing in at 105kg's...
I have enough problems getting a seat with sufficient legroom, let alone paying even more for my luggage.
Perhaps I could amputate my legs at the knees to reduce some weight and make it easier to fit in the plane?

So, the family going on hols with 2 adults at say 80 kg each (20 Kg baggage) and 2 kids at 30 kg each (up to 70 kg baggage) is actaully going to weigh in at more than with the existing format. How does that help with eco/green issues?
