Bath hotel Christmas getaway suggestions pls...
Discussion
Hi people!
I take the other half away every year for a night or two a week or two before Christmas. My mum and dad have the daughter and we relish a sumptuous break alone
We hardly go out during the year, so throw caution to the window re cost once a year. We have done quite a few Cotswold based hotels which were nice (Cotswold House Hotel in the main).
Last year we went to the Priory hotel in Bath http://www.thebathpriory.co.uk/ and enjoyed it very much overall. I'm inclined to rebook this year, unless anyone can offer a good alternative location ?
That's basis of your challenge
Bath (walkable into town pls). Genuinely impressive hotel. Option for great food if eating in.
Thank you all.

Have stayed at the Harington's Hotel.

Good food and service and some very unusual rooms - our 'room' was split over 3 floors! Also very central. Bed wasn't huge though.

Nick , if someone advised you to book into the Priory , I don't think that's what they had in mind.
How's it going BTW
Barsteward! lol. Nice one...I was asking for that...all is good here. How's it going BTW
Verrry busy time of year for me as it often is. A new puppy at 9 weeks now, and life goes on as it does.
Hope you're well.
Thank you for the all suggestions so far...am surfing them as I go.

Thanks so far

I have stayed in the Brailbrook lodge hotel, is a nice friendly place. Is about a 40min walk into the town but there is a bus stop close by. I would recommed it there. http://www.bailbrooklodge.co.uk/

Colleauges Used to use this place with work, mum just lived up the road.
Very good - and extremely central http://www.bathwindsorhotel.com/
We usually used to eat out - plenty of places to do that in the centre of Bath, but breakfasts were very good..
