Lucky me, I'm off to Vegas for a month or so with work next year and already I'm planning what to do with my spare time biggrin

Apart from putting all my money on Black what can I find to amuse myself? Especially being a PH'r? Having never driven an American muscle car I think it would be rude not to at least once.

From the Airport you can take a helicopter flight over the grand canyon.
There is also karting several miles off of the strip.
And near the top of the strip, just off there is indoor skydiving. Absolutely brilliant, one of the best experiences ever!

Shelby factory tour 10.30 AM daily IIRC, located near the speedway.

A trip to the Hoover dam.

You are kidding right???!!

Vegas is awesome.

Depending on how much free time you have, here's some suggestions for you based on my 5 day trip there earlier this year.

Helicopter flight to Grand Canyon (try and get one where you land on the Canyon floor, it's worth the extra)
Hoover Dam tour (if you have an engineering bent then do the longer, in depth tour, it's fascinating)
Drive out to Death Valley - this is a full day trip and awesome - the hottest place in the US is here.
Ride all the coasters on the strip, this can easily take a day, but is good fun.
Go see a show, but avoid America's Got Talent at the Stratosphere as it's rubbish.
Go to the Fremont Street experience (there's a bus service there in the evenings)
Go to the Times Square Bar inside NYNY and listen to the duelling pianos - was a fantastic night of live music.

You can see photos from my trip and read more about where else I went on my travel blog at:
