Was planning to drive the kids down to see family but what are the conditions like out there as there is no snow round here but it is Fekin' cold.

Stack is on so J8-9 closed. You'll be down the A20. There were long queues out of Dover although I think they may be down now. bottom part of county is fairy clear of snow but top part of county isn't.

I would advise not going, more snow expected and more ice and the a20 will be busy. It will be getting colder too.

As I understand it, the queues on the motorway are intense.

At least four hour delays on the M20 according to the overhead signs when I left it at jct 5.

M2 might be a better bet?
