Hi

Any recommendations of places to go? Things to see?

Just arrived... here until 11pm tomorrow.

Was thinking of heading to Wan Chai tonight to the bars

The mount tomorrow and maybe the ferry? Is the ferry worth doing?

Really looking for some experienced travellers to make our stay more interesting

Staying at the Mandarin Oriental - if that helps?!

You have a lovely bar in the basement of your hotel, The Captain's Bar.

Definetly do the Star Ferry over to the other side of the harbour. Dress smartly, and go up to the Felix Bar at the top of the Peninsula.

The best Dim Sum is in the Luk Yu Teahouse on Stanley Street in Central. It has changed very little in 75 years, the spitoons are now gone since when I was little though!

I'd offer to meet-up but am afriad I've just left and wont be back before you leave.

A bar called 'Azure', at the top of the Hotel Lan Kwai Fong is also worth checking out.

Enjoy it, its probably the world's best city.

Do this, and also ensure you go to the toilet whilst there too.

There's also a very nice bar at the top of the Sheraton next door, the Oyster bar, very relaxing and dimly lit, with great views over the Harbour.

Although looking at the time, it's already evening there, so you probably won't get to read this!

Lan Kwai Fong later on in the evening after 10pm, Als Diner for a few vodka jellies etc & then over the road to Insomnia for the end of the night. Lots of fun great atmosphere.

For a nice view go it woomaloo (sp), 35th floor open roof top bar in wan chai, drinks are expensive though.
