Hi all,

I am planning my honeymoon for mid-sept as we speak. My plan would be to spend 4 nights in New York, then go off for 10 days on the beach, ideally in Mexico.

What's the best (and hopefully) cheapest way of organising a trip like this? Should I be calling the likes of Trailfinders?

Thanks for your thoughts.

Got married 18 months ago in New York. Done all the organising ourselves. With regards to your honeymoon i recommend doing the same. We stayed at the Trump (see pic)on the 17th floor overlooking Central Park, totally recommend it. For that one off special meal I'd recommend the New York Palace, absolutely perfect in all respects, must book in advance. Both places know how to make you feel special. We done everything online, couldn't be easier. I'd say get married there...but I'm guessing you've got that taken care of.

Thanks Spudler.

The wedding's in the UK, although my bro got married in the Waldorf in NYC.

It's really the logistics that trouble me. It gets expensive booking multiple flights and hotels separately, and I do like the way package holidays take out a lot of the hassle. I was hoping to find an outfit that combines the two!

Fair enough Philsmile, I personally like to book everything individually. For a little bit of hassle i think its well worth it, plus in your case drop the little hint that its your honey moon and you get extra special attention.
All the best on your day.
