If you want a beach holiday, head for the west coast. If surfing is more your thing, the east coast is great. I'm afraid I only know family hotels there, but I'm sure someone else will be along in a minute to help with the kind of place you're looking for.

Barbados is great. smile

for beach, beer, chill and 25-30 any of the south coast hotels will be fine. best of the bunch, assuming that cheap is also a factor, is silver sands. If u want to pay for s bit more quality, then head up to Holetown, Treasure Beach is not bad.

If money is not an issue, then as another said, Westmoreland in Holetown is the dogs!!

Or u could rent my 3 bed house with pvt pool near the Crane???

I'll second The House. Had 2 weeks there for my honeymoon and loved every minute. Right on the beach, very personal service and there was a great bar opposite (3 years ago anyway).

I am currently staying at the SIlver Point Hotel on the South Coast which is great for Windsurfing/Kitesurfing but a bit isolated. The West Coast is better for bars etc. The weather here has been 30c for the last 10 days and it is a fantastic island. Coming home tomorrow absolutely gutted

I've been there 4 times in the past 5 years and stayed on the West Coast each time - Mango Bay (fun, all-inclusive), SandPiper (older clientele), Coral <something, can't remember> and Sandy Lane (the ultimate) - thus always around the Holetown area.

Have visited RWM a few times and there are some stunning properties there - nice for golf and should be relatively quiet. SL is absolutely superb but eye-wateringly expensive between Xmas and Feb.

Weather should be super in Feb. Indeed. if you wait another couple of months, you can enjoy the Cricket 20-20 world cup too!

We stayed in Mango Bay about 18 months ago and it was lovely. Quiet a small place, but very friendly....just down the road from Sandy Lane
