When to book flights to Santorini?

Evening,

I have a holiday booked to Santorini in June, and I'm trying to figure out when the best time to book the flights is.

It seems only a few budget airlines fly direct from the UK to Thira. Not too bothered by this, but I obviously want to book when the prices will be cheapest.

Any ideas?

I've actually got cheaper flights through Easyjet once by waiting a few weeks to book.

I've had a hunt around, and my understanding is that flights are cheapest when they are announced (which was a long time ago unfortunately), and when very close to the departure date.
