Can anyone recommend a decent instructor in Tignes? Heading there for a week from the 20th to 27th Feb and have only been once before 3 years ago for a week, so would like to get a couple of morning lessons in on the first couple of days.

Would prefer to avoid the ESF red suit ninja's and find a smaller/independent company/instructor.

I was speaking to my instructor only yesterday about inctruction in Tignes!

There are definitely BASI qualified instructors out there, I think the best bet is to ring up the resort or the hotel and ask their advice.

Also the BASI website has contact details on for each of the different resorts.

Plenty of English ski/board schools in Tignes and indeed in most Brit popular resorts. The ESF dont like it but have had to except it now it seems.

A magic in motion guy transformed my snowboarding a few years ago with some private lessons. I guess results are highly individual but it's a recommendation for what it's worth.
