Skiing in Obergurgl

Yep, we were aware of the lack of nightlife when we booked. It's probably a slightly quiet choice for lads' holiday, but the philosophy was that we have the remaining 51 weeks a year to go out, when hangovers won't eat into expensive ski time! It's always taken me a while to get used to altitude so alcohol on ski holidays tends to end badly (ironically I was fine when I worked in the alps, but I think I need a few days to adjust...)
It's going to be interesting to see what the skiing's like. It's been a while since I've skied properly so I'm personally hoping for some very flattering runs.
