I wasn't sure whether to post here or in the Jobs and employment section as it's a bit of both....

Basically I've been offered some work in Nigeria, details are a bit sketchy but I'm assuming Lagos (mainly because its the only airport that springs to mind!).

Has anyone here been to Nigeria? Any thoughts?

(p.s I'm not off to transfer money to rescue a princess or anything)

Lagos is crap. I worked in Calabar for a period, both onshore, and offshore. It's OK as long as you're not a cock, and don't attract attention to yourself. Saying that, our crewboat was shot at, and the shots only just missed the skipper, so it can be dangerous. Many pirate attacks there.
