Anyone been to a Beaches resort - any good?

My wife and I need to get away to somewhere warm for 1 week at the beginning of April after a long winter of hard work and dark nights. The problem is, we haven't had a proper relaxing holiday for 6 years thanks to our daughter. Don't get me wrong, she's the love of my life, but as any parent will know, you don't really relax when you've got children that constantly want to go and do something new!

So, we were trying to find somewhere where we could really relax, warm up and have the benefit of a good kids club to keep the little one amused for part of the day. That's when we came across Beaches resorts in the Caribbean. Have any of you tried it and, if so, is it any good?

Also, if you can recommend anywhere else that will tick the boxes, please do let me know.
