4000 Mile Euro Trip, Suggestions?

Hi All,

Planning an epic road trip this summer in the MX5.



We've got 3.5 weeks to do this lot ^

You can see the destinations on the left of the map. These are not set in stone, If anyone has any better suggestions I'd be really interested to hear them. Any good quality, reasonably priced places to stay are also appreciated

Anyone offer any advice on the following points:

-I'm not familiar with the area around lake garda, I hear it's stunning but super busy, Any hidden gems over there would be fantastic!

-I'm a bit stuck for somewhere to spend a couple of days in Serbia. Belgrade seems obvious but i think I'd prefer something more chilled out as we will have just left a City (zagreb) Any suggestions?

-I'd like to find somewhere interesting in Northern Romania en route to Budapest. any ideas?

-Good place to stay close to the 'Ring

-Somewhere nice and chilled out within 4 hours of calais.

What about Monaco? Great route by the way, hoping to do something similar myself next year but less miles over about 2 weeks.

Good shout but been to monaco before, was awesome, especially the drive down from the maritime alps. Best roads I've ever seen
