After surviving Bulgaria, Romania and Brazil, I am being sent to Singapore with work in just over a weeks time. I have been told by colleagues about the "four floors of......" and not to go to the top floor. Can anyone enlighten me???

From what I have just read, i'm assuming that the top floor is called 'Crazy Horse' and is full of lady boys. Cant say i've ever been there myself though.

The Night Safari at the Zoo is pretty good.
Easy train and bus trip there, but I found the last train went earlier than the timetable said - so had to get a taxi back to the hotel - but it was relatively cheap.

Clarke Quay down by the river is OK for food places and just up river from Brewerks is a little park where they fly these microlight "kites" - these all have LED lights on them and look like UFOs flying over that area.

Close Encounters, eh??
The company that sells these - Go Fly Kite (which is colloquial Singapore talk for "sod off and leave me alone" if I remember correctly - is based in the building that Brewerks is in - but they are farking expensive - I looked at getting one but it was about £400 all in, including shipment back here!!!

Transportation is clean, efficient and cheap so it is easy to get around.

I was there when the GP had just been announced so had fun working out where it was all going to be - it may more obvious now though smile
