Would like to holiday in the area late August and looking preferably for a family villa (2 adults, 2 small kids and my 65 yr old but young at heart mum). Villas in this area seem to be far and few between.

Alternatively, a nice hotel on or near the beach (mum doesn't do 'cheap' but then she has offered to pay half of the holiday ) that would be suitable for the kids.

Any recommendations from my esteemed PHers?

I have camped there a few times albeit not for the last 15 years or so.

Good location, easy walk to the town, which comes alive at night (in a good way).
