Cheapest ferries to Dublin

Could anybody please recommend the most cost effective booking method or Ferry company for travelling from the UK to Dublin (car with 2 adults)?

Preferred departure point would be Liverpool, Birkenhead or Hollyhead.

Middle of the night are the least expensive but maybey not the cheapest.

NorfolkLine currently do a reasonably cheap crossing from Birkenhead to Dublin which is worth you considering.
