Is it the airline, holiday company or my own travel insurance that makes amends?
Due to fly to Dahab tomorrow morning and getting rather concerned as to what will happen.
We are driving down to Gatwick later and will be in a hotel tonight.

current info suggests you won't go. Call the airline and ask them what happens, I'm sure their call centre won't be busy.

Which is why i'm asking on here.
We aren't due to fly till tomorrow and i'm sure there are people who need to get through far more urgently than me.
Website says leave your number and they'll be in touch.

You will get a refund from the airline but no compensation, as it's 'gods will" and not anything the airline can fix.

Even if your flight is in morning I doubt anything will fly till mid morning anyway, and besides all the planes are at the wrong places so the backlog is going to awful.
All flights into and out of UK are cancelled!

I'd just stay at home.

Holed up in Gatwick night 3.
Feels like a prison sentance! lol. Should be on a beach sipping G&Ts, instead we're in a cheap hotel.

Anyone else doing the same?

I'm guessing you'll be spending most of your holiday there frown
